ASAP BC is a non-profit, non-government association that works with and for its members to provide the best possible addiction services for the people of British Columbia. We do this by providing our members with information, leadership, advocacy and support services.
ASAP BC's members are addiction service providers throughout British Columbia. They are providing prevention and treatment services employing a wide range of strategies including abstinence based programs and harm reduction programs. Most of our members have contracts to provide services on behalf of the provincial government or federal governments. Some, however, are non-funded service providers from both the non-profit and private sectors. In addition, we have associate members who are individuals or agencies that do not meet the criteria for organizational membership but who support our goal of effective addictions services for people of British Columbia.
